Echo Fox Joins H1Z1 Pro League as Charter Team

March 8, 2018

Echo Fox is pleased to announce that we have been accepted into the highly anticipated H1Z1 Pro League. As a member of the league, Echo Fox will be competing alongside fourteen of the best esport organizations in the world when league play kicks off on Saturday, April 21.

The H1Z1 Pro League is the first professional esports league for the battle royale genre with a mission to establish a “first-of-its-kind” league that focuses on supporting and engaging players and fans in a never- before-seen way.

Echo Fox is a long-time member of the professional H1Z1 scene, dating back to the 2016 H1Z1 Invitational where Echo Fox’s players took 1st and 4th place overall in the tournament. Having helped grow professional H1Z1 from its beginnings, Echo Fox is excited to step into the new era of H1Z1 competition.

“I've been playing H1Z1 since Daybreak first launched the competitive battle royale genre in early 2016," said Echo Fox Founder Rick Fox. "As a charter team in the new H1Z1 Pro League, Echo Fox will have seat at the table as the H1Z1 Pro League reshapes the traditional esports model. We couldn't be more honored and excited to be teaming up with the other great esports organizations also signing on today."

The League promises stability for players through minimum compensation agreements and standard contract requirements, promising stability to teams through franchised league spots and profit sharing agreements. Echo Fox, along with the other 14 teams in the league and all of its participants, will have a hand in shaping the future of the League through its governance committee, which will include both player and team representatives.

Echo Fox will be announcing its full roster in the upcoming days.
