heavenTime Joins Echo Fox as Head Coach

Echo Fox is happy to announce that Simon “heavenTime” Jeon has joined the team as the new head coach.

heavenTime is a Korean native who moved to North America at fifteen. During his playing career heavenTime played both jungle and support and became known for his Sejuani play. He has appeared in the tournament circuit and North American Challenger Series with teams such as To Be Determined, Team LoLPro, Final5.

He gained coaching experience by working as an analyst with Cloud9 Tempest, Team Dragon Knights, Gambit Gaming, and Keyd Stars. heavenTime also coached the University of British Columbia to the top of the uLoL Championship two years in a row and led them to victory in an international collegiate championship hosted in Korea. This tournament featured top schools including Chunnam Techno University, which held a spot in OGN Champions 2013 and boasts SKT Wolf, SKT Piccaboo, WE Mystic, and KT Hachani as alumni.

heavenTime will help bring the team together both inside and outside the game. He is fluent in both English and Korean which will help bridge the language barriers within the team. 

Echo Fox's general manager Jake Fyfe is excited about what Simon brings to the team.

"Simon is a proven coach that helped UBC to become the most successful collegiate team in the world." Fyfe said. "His experience and ability to speak Korean has made him a natural fit for Echo Fox, and we are looking forward to his involvement for the remainder of the Summer Split."

heavenTime's experience and solution focused approach to coaching is sure to be an asset for the Foxes as they continue their campaign in the LCS' summer split.
